Athora announces leadership update

Pembroke, Bermuda, July 31, 2024 -  Athora Holding Ltd. (Athora or the Group), a leading European savings and retirement services group, today announces that Anders Malmström has accepted an executive role based in Switzerland and will be leaving Athora in early 2025.

Anders joined the organisation in May 2021, bringing significant international insurance experience and leadership. During his time, he has significantly matured the Group Finance function, implementing a solid reporting and operational structure (including oversight of the transition to IFRS 17/9), providing Athora with a strong foundation for continued growth.

Mike Wells, Athora Group Chief Executive Officer, commented “We want to thank Anders for his long-lasting contributions to Athora, including acquisition and integration activities that have put us on strong footing for the future. We wish him well in his future role in his home country of Switzerland.”

At this time, Anders maintains all Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Management Committee responsibilities. Succession of the Group CFO will be announced in due course.
