Athora Life Re and Athora Ireland upgraded to A- (Excellent) Financial Strength Rating by AM Best

AM Best has upgraded the Financial Strength Rating to A- (Excellent) from B++ (Good) of Athora Life Re Ltd. and its subsidiary, Athora Ireland plc. The outlook of these ratings is stable.

Achieving the A- rating for the reinsurance carriers of Athora Holding Ltd. (Athora) is an important step in the delivery of the group’s target to achieve ‘A’ range ratings for its key operating entities. The improved ratings profile of Athora Life Re and Athora Ireland is also supportive of Athora’s 3^rd party reinsurance activity.
